Situated between West Virginia’s largest metropolitan areas of Charleston and Huntington, and one of the fastest growing counties in West Virginia, it is known as an economically progressive county with much to offer new businesses and new residents. It has achieved important economic growth through recruitment of the Toyota plant in Buffalo and the cooperative economic development efforts of Advantage Valley.
